Digital Jan Seva ("Website", "Portal", "we", "us", "our") is an independent third-party service platform providing assistance and facilitation services related to PAN card applications, corrections, reprints and other documentation/online services.
By registering on or using this Portal, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Digital Jan Seva is not the Income Tax Department of India and is not the official Income Tax e-Filing website, unless specifically stated otherwise for a particular service.
Where applicable, applications or requests may be processed through relevant authorised/official channels or service providers.
The user agrees to provide correct, complete and genuine information while registering and while submitting any application. The user is responsible for the accuracy of information and documents submitted.
The user confirms that documents submitted through the Portal belong to the applicant or that the user is legally authorised to submit them. Forged, false or unauthorised documents must not be submitted.
Submission of an application through Digital Jan Seva does not guarantee that a PAN will be issued, corrected or approved. Final processing, verification, approval, rejection, correction or issuance is subject to the rules and decision of the concerned authority/service provider.
Applicable service charges will be displayed or communicated to the user before the relevant service is processed. Government/statutory charges, where applicable, may be separate from Digital Jan Seva's service/facilitation charges.
Refunds, where applicable, shall be subject to the specific service and its processing status. Once a service/application has been submitted or processing has commenced, the service charge may not be refundable where work has already been performed.
Users must keep login credentials and OTPs confidential and must not share them with unauthorised persons.
Users shall not submit forged or fraudulent documents, provide false information, misuse another person's identity, attempt to access another user's account, bypass security mechanisms, or use the Portal for unlawful purposes.
We try to keep the Portal available and operational, but uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed. Third-party, government, network, server and maintenance issues may affect availability.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Digital Jan Seva shall not be responsible for losses arising solely from incorrect information supplied by the user, invalid documents, third-party/government delays, rejection by a concerned authority, or failure to provide required documents. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Personal information and documents submitted through the Portal will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page.
